The summer may be here, but over here at the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing, we are hard at work to plan the JAN conference for you.
Yes, you heard it right! After a considerable hiatus over the COVID pandemic, we are back to planning face-to-face events here at the Mark Allen group. And as for JAN, we have quite some exciting, cutting-edge content prepared for both the aspiring and seasoned professionals in aesthetics.
As a team, we are committed to presenting the issues that lie at the forefront of cosmetic medicine, many of which concern an interdisciplinary approach to looking at aesthetics. ‘How can aesthetic professionals ensure that their practices are ethical and sustainable?’ ‘How does psychology play a role in aesthetic consulting for patients undergoing menopause?’ ‘What are the updated must-knows about energy-based devices and polynucleotides in aesthetics?’ Questions like these lie at the heart of our journal, as we are here to not only cover new scientific topics in aesthetics, but also to enhance your continuous learning in the workplace. Making sure you're always at the competitive edge, being the most professionally informed you can be.
So pencil it in! The JAN conference will take place in Manchester on November 27, 2023. This will not only earn you CPD points, but you'll have the opportunity to network with top industry specialists and other aesthetic nurses alike. Watch the space on aestheticnursingconference.co.uk for more details to come, or scan the QR code in the advert in this issue.
In the meantime, as always, do feel free to reach out should you have any thoughts to share on what our journal can do for you. Now sit back, relax, and enjoy this exciting issue that we've put together for you—one covering topics from pigmentation and pregnancy, to biostimulatory responses in dermal fillers, all the way to planning strategic pre- and post-summer packages.
Stay hydrated this summer, and happy reading!
